Children Believe is currently recruiting for the following position:

Mail & Records Associate
Based out of Canada Office, reporting to the Director, Finance & Administration, the Mail & Records Associate is responsible for:

  • Collect, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and packages
  • Records and processes all mail information, maintains logs
  • Digitalize paper records through the use of scanners
  • Provide support to the Corporate Services team by participating and completing ad hoc projects, tasks, and reports


This is a permanent part-time in office position with 15 hours of work per week that requires the incumbent work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the head office location in Markham at 1200 Denison Street.


This role includes, but not limited to:

Mail Duties:


  • Collect, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and packages
  • Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all mail equipment and supplies
  • Digitalize mail when required by scanning documents
  • Records and processes all mail information, maintains logs
  • Digitalization Duties:
  • Sort paper records readying it for scanning
  • Digitalize paper records through the use of scanners
  • All images scanned are reviewed/edited to ensure scanned documents are clear
  • Ensure digital files are named appropriately, saved and placed in an logical and organized manner

Other:

  • Provide support to the Corporate Services team by participating and completing ad hoc projects, tasks, and reports
  • Comply with all Children Believe policies and procedures

Location*:
The office is located at 1200 Denison Street, Markham, ON. This is an in office position that will require work in the office two days a week.


Compensation:
$20 Hourly
