Terms:

Full-Time Permanent with 3 months of probation period


Salary/Rate:

Can be negotiable


Working Hours:

Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid break, some overtime and weekends if necessary

Responsibilities:


  • Clean and prepare surfaces, or cover furniture and surrounding surfaces as needed before performing the job
  • Be able to select the correct sealing compound and tape for each job
  • Prepare and mix plaster ingredients to an appropriate consistency by hand or with portable electric mixers
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Press paper tape over joints to embed tape into sealing compound and to seal joints
  • Check adhesives to make sure that they will work and will remain durable
  • Sand at the end of the job to make a smooth finish of the surface
  • Put boards of drywall on decently
  • Ensure to clean up the jobsite at the end of day
  • All other duties assigned by the supervisors
  • Basic knowledge of construction industry
  • Minimum of 3year experience in professional taping
  • Ability to stand for a long period; to bend; crouch and kneel
  • Ability to carry equipment and materials up to 50lb
  • High attention to detail
  • Own reliable transportation
  • Ability to communicate in English

Job Types:

Pay:
$16.00-$25.00 per hour
