We have an immediate opening for a temporary Property Administrator (1-year contract) to join our Operations (Corporate) team in Calgary, AB.

Reporting to the Director, Customer Service, you will be an important part of our team, assisting in the effective operations of our property management processes, while providing exceptional customer service.

This position requires someone that is well versed using Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to senior level.


What you will do:


  • Answer phone, routing calls and being first point of contact in the office providing information to residents and prospective residents and supporting team members
  • Coding payables invoices, setting up vendor accounts, creating and closing purchasing orders, GL review
  • Complete bank deposits, eft's and security deposit refunds, as needed
  • Maintain resident files; keeping accurate information regarding resident contact information
  • Preparation and review of correspondence and requirements including resident letters, rent increases, eviction notices, noise complaints, tenant ledgers, adjustments, rent rollovers, security deposit transfers, NOI on properties, CapEx unit status report, CapEx ROI spreadsheet on unit renovations, construction crew report, post referrals, GPR vacancy, expenses, etc.
  • Utility bill validations and charge backs
  • Ledger reconciliation, monthly postings
  • Run and manage aged receivables, handle collection calls, RTDRS filings etc.
  • Receiving and sending mail and courier items
  • Attending leasing meetings and auditing lease agreements
  • General customer service and positive tenant relations
  • Assist with annual budget preparation, and completion of budget reports and variance analysis
  • Prepare and conduct residential tenancy tribunal documents and hearings
  • Review gross rent potential and recommend increases
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

What you will bring:


  • Able to work independently or in a team environment, is a selfstarter and able to effectively multitask
  • Three years previous experience in the industry
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and RTDRS filing system
  • Knowledge of Yardi Voyager considered an asset
  • Proficient use of MS Office suite at an intermediate to senior level
  • Good customer service skills and pleasant demeanor
  • An ability to speak and write English fluently
  • Able to provide a criminal record free of relevant convictions
