Business Analyst - Intermediate


Location: 25 Morton Shulman Avenue, Toronto, Ontario (Onsite)

Duration:
Long Term Contract


MUST HAVES:


  • At least 57 years of experience in business integration and project implementation including experience in Agile projects.
  • Great communication and facilitations skills for business analysis, and be able to conduct workshops and training sessions.
  • Experience in industry vertical like death investigations, forensic pathology etc.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

  • Develop training and technical documentation and conduct training workshops to support solution rollout.
  • Facilitation of Working Groups, Focus Groups and team discussions
  • OCC-OFPS, Regional Units, Community Hospitals, Stakeholders
  • Gathering business requirements, lead process improvements, developing specifications, producing various related artefacts and traceability documentation as per OPS standards
  • Creation of functional and technical specifications for data migration and data consolidation into one central system.
  • Maintain current documentation, amendments and enhancements.
  • Conduct Testing and Validation of developed functionality and clarification of Business Requirements
  • Functional analysis to define business activities and develop process and workflows
  • Communicate project status, work plans, issues lists and other forms of communication both internal and external
  • Lead and facilitate Solution Design sessions and drive process for new implementations
  • Support solution users during the and after the integration 'golive'
  • Provide input on OFPS Case Management Solution Roadmap
  • Assists in the creation, editing and finalization of business documents i.e. Phase II F-Path business case, project charter development etc.
  • Leading Training workshops, Business Analysis and design experience at the specified level in large IT organizations, preferably within an OPS environment.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite including, Teams, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Experience with OPS IT Enterprise Architecture Standards and creation of related artifacts
  • Experience of Agile development projects, EPIC methodology, Cloud based development including DevOps
  • Outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business.
  • Experience in data migration and interfacing between systems.
  • At least 57 years of experience in business integration and project implementation including experience in Agile projects.

Business Integration Skills

  • 57 years' experience with Business Integration processes and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience with business process analysis and modelling
  • Demonstrated experience in development of requirements, technical documentation, facilitating Business Process, training and JAD sessions
  • Experience in Testing and Validation of developed functionality and managing requirement traceability.
  • Managing simultaneous software implementations for multiple clients/stakeholders including delivering product training sessions.
  • Leading testing at all levels including functional analysis to define business activities and develop process and workflows

Change Management Skills

  • Experience in implementation of electronic data interchange (EDI) interfaces.
  • Experience in data migration, data cleansing and solutioning.
  • Supporting solution users during the and after the integration 'golive'.
  • Experience in developing training and educational material and conducting workshops.

Communication Skills

  • Writing skills, Negotiating skills
  • Communicating project status via work plans, issues lists and other forms of communication both internal and external

Other Experience

  • 5 Years of Public Sector Experience
  • Experience in Forensic investigation environment/industry vertical.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an agile team environment.
