- Performs either rough grade or fine grade finishing, spreading, and mixing materials on roadway.
- Must be able to understand grades and have knowledge of plans, drawings, and overall road construction.
- Responsible for equipment checks and informing fleet department of mechanical problems with equipment.
- Ability to operate other equipment is considered an asset.

- 2-3 years' experience of working in the paving and asphalt industry.
- 2-3 years' experience operating paving equipment
- 2-3 years' experience working on municipal and highways paving projects.
- 2-3 years' experience and understanding of paving and paving processes.
- Maintains a valid Class 5 driver's license or better.
- Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.
- Willing to work overtime, as required.
- Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively in a team environment.
- $32.00-$40.00 /hour straight time hourly rate
- The position is eligible for overtime. All hours worked in excess of 8 hours per day or 44 hours in a week shall be paid at 1.5 times the straight time rate.
- Project work is scheduled for 14/2, 12-hour days, schedule flexible to change (Highways)
