    The Fine Arts Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced instructor for the Performing Arts Pathway. This program will see students in grades 4 - 8 participate in highly specialized arts education with a focus on dance. The position will involve introducing students to dance. Students will learn components on jazz, ballet, and hip hop. Afternoons will be spent instruction high level dance training to students at the Dr.Brass Dance Academy.

    The successful applicant will have the following knowledge, skills, abilities and educational background:

    a specialization in dance, drama, musical theatre and choreography

    a background and strong foundation in arts education and performing arts

    prior experience in program development, implementation and management

    experience with community involvement

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent

    Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate

    Experience teaching dance

    Masters in Arts Education an asset
