This position is a designated visible minority position. Applicants are encouraged to Self-Identify as the FNMI Student Support Worker position is a designated position.This is a temporary, full-time (35 hour per week) position that supports both elementary and secondary students.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Superintendent responsible for Indigenous Education and staff to support improved Indigenous student achievement and well-being.
- Liaise with FNMI community members, parents/guardians, organizations, and educators to partner, build, and maintain positive relationships that result in improved confidence and student achievement for FNMI students.
