Miller Waste is currently seeking to add a safe and talented Second or Third year 310T Apprentice to our growing team at our London, Ontario operation.

Location: 15 Buchanan Court, London Ontario N5Z 4P9


Shift:
Afternoons Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 1:00am Fridays 4:00pm to 10:00pm

What You'll Do:


  • Adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Service and repair of all Company vehicles to ministry standards.
  • Repair and road test equipment, including hydraulics and electrical as well as shop maintenance.
  • Conduct vehicle maintenance according to established MWS policies and procedures.
  • Maintain all required records and files for vehicle maintenance.
  • Conduct onroad service calls as required
  • Provide support to the other technicians as requested and assigned

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Be enrolled in a valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician's License Program and possess a minimum G class valid driver's license.
  • Adaptable with ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced, high pressure environment while maintaing a team environment.
  • Available to work holidays and weekends as per the Region's contract requirements
  • Must be comfortable with prioritizing, planning, coordinating and organizing your time
  • Ability to assess problem situations, identify issues and use sound judgement to create and/or suggest solutions that meet the required standards.
