    Job Description

    The warehouse clerk is responsible for the receiving, storage, inventory, preparation and distribution of materials. He/she contributes to ensuring an uninterrupted supply of spare parts and supplies necessary for the continuity of operations by performing tasks such as ordering, making available and inventorying spare parts. Performs administrative and operational activities in a high quality performance environment. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Loads and unloads goods manually or with a forklift;
    • Approve the receipt of goods, verify the good condition according to drawing and quantities received with supporting documents, process returns;
    • Maintain the inventory levels;
    • Carry out receipts of goods received in the integrated management system (ERP Microsoft Dynamics AX);
    • Maintain order and nomenclature of the store;
    • Ensure the identification of parts;
    • Make requisitions and request for submission of standard parts and/or according to drawing;
    • Follow-up with suppliers:
    • Send parts to be repaired
    • Monitoring of parts under repair
    • Respond to requests from internal customers for the search and return of parts and the parts issue register;
    • Preparation of annual and/or weekly shutdown boxes;
    • Weekly cyclical account
    • Management of end-of-year inventories;
    • Perform other related duties;
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent;
    • Minimum of 2 years experience as a warehouse clerk;
    • Ability to work with computer systems;
    • Experience with a computerized management system (ERP) is an asset;
    • Organizational skills;
    • Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic parts;
    • Attention to detail;
    • Ability to work under pressure;
    • Good physical ability;
    • Bilingual (English is required in order to service our customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec);
    • Driver's license, an asset.
