Description
Gentry Home Builders is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative/Accounting Assistant.

This position will report directly to the Controller and will play a key role in supporting the accounting department and overall operations of the company.


Responsibilities:


  • Schedule and coordinate warranty appointments for homeowners
  • Communicate with trades and clients to address inquiries and resolve issues
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and ordering office supplies
  • Support the Controller with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in accounting, business administration or equivalent required;
  • 4+ years of experience in an administrative or accounting role
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • 2 + years experience in the home building industry

Salary:
$23.00-$28.00 per hour
