Gentry Home Builders is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative/Accounting Assistant.This position will report directly to the Controller and will play a key role in supporting the accounting department and overall operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate warranty appointments for homeowners
- Communicate with trades and clients to address inquiries and resolve issues
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and ordering office supplies
- Support the Controller with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Qualifications:
- Diploma in accounting, business administration or equivalent required;
- 4+ years of experience in an administrative or accounting role
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- 2 + years experience in the home building industry
