Willing to trainApex is currently looking to fill an Accommodation Trailer Service and Maintenance Technician position at our Fort St. John branch. Apex has an existing fleet of mobile accommodation trailers. These skidded accommodation trailers rent to the workforce in remote locations.
This position includes shop and field work, being on-call on a rotational basis, effectively dealing with customer concerns and maintaining a high standard of quality and service.
If you're competent in the art of carpentry, mechanics, electrically inclined and enjoy working with your hands, we welcome the opportunity to connect.
- Works well with others in a team environment
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting tasks and changing priorities
- Is mechanically inclined mechanical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Wiliness to train, learn and acquire new skills
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, satellites, and/or electronics is an asset.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Servicing and maintaining wellsite units with a high standard of quality and safety
- Shipping of wellsite trailers in a ready to work condition
- Receiving wellsite trailers from the field into the yard
- Communicating any damage to dispatch
- Providing relevant information to the dispatch team
- Draining wellsite's and ensuring cleanliness satisfactory
- Assisting with maintaining the proper parts inventory (via: maintenance sheets, work orders, P.O.#'s, inventory sheets)
- Responsible for appropriate truck maintenance and maintaining sufficient inventory in truck.
