- **Business Development Manager**_

**Fracht Canada **is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to join our team in Montréal, QC. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in your assigned territory/(ies). Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and promoting our freight forwarding services. This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the assigned territories.
- Identify and prospect potential clients in various industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in target companies.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and pricing, to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements and satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated with industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the management team on sales activities, pipeline, and market insights.

**Education and/or Work Experience Required**:

- Successful completion of high school, or equivalent, plus additional job-related coursework or specialized training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Cargo Wise software(s) programs or similar.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the freight forwarding industry.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the federal, provincial, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with federal, provincial, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone in both French and English
