Job Summary:

Coreio is looking for a Deskside Technician to join our Toronto team.(3-month Contract). Remote role with occasional travel to the office. The individual will be involved in a Windows 10 migration.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Deliver technical support services in a courteous and responsive manner.
  • End User Support and troubleshooting.
  • Client onboarding.
  • Support tickets as assigned.
  • Complete various tasks and responsibilities, including moves, disaster recovery, asset refresh, install, deinstall, reimage, evaluation and testing, answer/respond to questions about hardware/software.
  • Troubleshoot, fix and/or resolve clients' issues per service ticket request.
  • Consistently demonstrate interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Movement of device inventory to/from shipping/receiving/storage area to imaging workbench.
  • Execute the imaging & refurbishment activities required for this project.
  • Device repair as required during the refurbishment process.
  • Arrange required outbound device shipments and process inbound returns.
  • Standard swapping/refresh of asset, image of existing assets, scheduling users, shipping/receiving of equipment, additional standard Technical Analyst responsibilities.
  • Test and clean PCs, laptops and other related hardware as needed.
  • Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals as needed during the upgrade.
  • Set up, configure and add all required hardware during upgrade.
  • Restore all user and configuration data from user's backup.
  • Migrate from Local domain to Global domain with script.
  • Provide resolution of end user's technical issues post migration.

Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Experienced Deskside Technician
  • Good English communication skills (written and Oral)
  • Experienced in Win10 and Win10 Migration OS / Domain troubleshooting
  • Ability to work on the schedule independently and proactivity reach out for support orquestions
  • Understand and have experience with remote access tools
  • Understand and have experience with Azure Active Directory
  • Understand ad have experience with Intune
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Follow KT articles and update and contribute as required
  • End and Update tickets in the Ticketing System.
