Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 on-site medical advice on routine occupational health issues
• Management of critical and non-critical injuries, including contacting the hospital and working with emergency staff
• Daily inspecting and maintaining of medical equipment
• Conducting routine checks on ambulances and other vehicles to verify medical equipment and safety features are present and functional
• Monitoring and managing inventory of medical supplies and medications and restocking when needed
• Participate as an active member of the site emergency response team, participating in all training scenarios, drills, or other related activities to site emergency preparedness
• Performing functional ability assessments to determine fitness for duty

Advanced Care Paramedics Requirements:

• Advanced Care Paramedic License – valid & in good standing
• BLS - CPR
• ITLS or equivalent
• POCT Breath Alcohol Test certification (or training provided)
• First Aid Instructor certification (or training provided)
• Respirator Fit Test certification (or training provided)
• Class 4 Driver's License may be required for some projects
• Drivers Abstract – in good standing
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 90 days)
• Current Medical & Immunization Record (must be fully vaccinated)
