Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers
  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
  • Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
  • Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Skills:


  • Bartending: Proficient in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences
  • Food handling: Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices when handling garnishes or snacks
  • Food service: Ability to deliver food orders accurately and efficiently, if required
  • Cash handling: Experience in handling cash transactions, including giving change and processing credit card payments
  • Math: Strong mathematical skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
  • POS (Point of Sale) systems: Familiarity with using POS systems for order entry and payment processing
  • Cashiering: Ability to operate a cash register and handle money accurately
  • Hospitality: Friendly and welcoming demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Customer service: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
