Green PI Inc is presently looking for a
Lead Business Analyst - Level 3 for its client,
Department of National Defence / Government of Canada to recommend business process reengineering concepts and methodology with the implementation of the software.

The LBA3 must lead the analysis and documentation of the project requirements. The LBA3 will analyze and document gaps between current business requirements and proposed Software features and functions.

The LBA3 will assist in the development and maintenance of statement of work and project plans for the R&CS 5 software.

Anticipated Start Date: The contract will be for two (2) years.


Must have:


  • Must hold a degree (undergraduate or graduate) from a recognized university and a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) months of demonstrated experience as a business analyst,
OR


A college level certificate combined with a minimum of one hundred and thirty-two (132) months of demonstrated experience as a business analyst.

must demonstrate a minimum of sixty (60) months of experience within the last eighty-four (84) months in an Information Technology (IT) military, defense sector or federal government environment as a business analyst with experience leading, supervising, directing or managing the process involved in planning and implementing new information systems and/or planning and integrating new technologies into existing systems.


  • Must have a minimum of sixty (60) months of demonstrated combined experience within the last eighty-four (84) months in the analysis of requirements, document effective writing skills, conduct of briefings to senior leadership/management* and dealing with stakeholders.
  • Must demonstrate a minimum of forty-eight (48) months of experience within the last seventy-two (72)


months as a Team Lead* for the implementation of a Command-and-Control system or software, or portion of, intended for operational use in an aerospace or military environment, on a minimum of at least two (2) projects**.

*Team leading includes initial planning, scheduling, implementation, testing and acceptance/handover.

**For the project to qualify, the resource must have been employed on the project for a minimum of twelve (12) months and a minimum project value of $2,000,000.00

Must demonstrate a minimum of thirty-six (36) months of experience within the last sixty (60) months, in each of the following:
(1) Working in a large-scale distributed computer information System (CIS); and

(2) Working in a classified computer information (CIS) system.

The proposed Resource must demonstrate a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience within the last sixty

(60) months, developing large scale distributed systems

Must demonstrate a minimum of thirty-six (36) months of experience within the last sixty (60) months, in each of the following areas:
(1) Providing 1st and 3rd line of support to a classified data center infrastructure; and

a. TBMCS, or NAPPIC; and

b. FlightPro/ULTool, or M2S; and

c. DSS, or RFE, or APT.

Must demonstrate experience as a Business Analyst in at least five of the eight software development stages:
(1) Planning (Requirements analysis);
(2) Software Design;
(3) Development;
(4) Testing;
(5) Integration (I.e. - with other systems)

(6) Deployment (installation);
(7) Customer and Stakeholder Acceptance; and

(8) Maintenance,


Experience must be with at least two (2) software projects and the project* must have been Operationally accepted and in use by its intended operational user(s) for a minimum of twelve (12) months.

Minimum of sixty months (60) of experience within the last ninety-six (96) months working as a Business Analyst following agile project-development processes, with demonstrated experience in each of the following areas:
(1) User Stories;
(2) Scrum;
(3) Kanban; and

(4) Sprint Planning.

Must demonstrate thirty-six (36) months experience in a role supporting a developmental system that is in operational service, including:
(1) management of issues and\or bugs;
(2) change requests;
(3) issue prioritization;
(4) update planning; and

(5) release planning.


Education
Must hold a degree (undergraduate or graduate) from a recognized university and a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) months of demonstrated experience as a business analyst,

A college level certificate combined with a minimum of one hundred and thirty-two (132) months of demonstrated experience as a business analyst.
