The Risk Management Department (RISQ) contributes to the sustainable growth of the SG Group through its expertise, understanding of risks, risk management techniques, and effective challenge of the business lines.

The Department's mission is to independently analyze, challenge, opine on and monitor risk-taking activities with the objective of achieving, together with the first line-of-defense, the best possible outcome for the Bank.

In the Americas, the Chief Risk Officer also oversees that Compliance Department which ensures compliance with laws, rules and ethical principles specific to banking activities and investment services undertaken by the firm, as well as compliance with staff members' personal rules of good conduct and ethics.

The COO office (RISQ/AME/COO) provides transversal support to the Risk Management and Compliance Departments in the Americas including the establishment of regulatory compliance frameworks.

During your VIE mission, you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

  • Assist with re-organization and re-design of policy library
  • Follow up with policy owners, sponsors and other stakeholders for comments on redesign
  • Review policies and procedures for consistent formatting, appropriate approvals and cross references and help with addressing noncomforming policies
  • Assist with tool(s) maintenance and enhancements, including tagging of policies
  • Finalize and publish policies post approval
  • Prepare initial drafts of reports and presentations regarding policies, including policy library redesign, to update stakeholders

Profile required:


Profile

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in business, finance or law.
  • A previous experience in financial or legal services would be appreciated
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving and organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Capable of handling multiple adhoc requests.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Fluent in English
