Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate commercial vehicles.


Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any concerns or issues

Experience:

• MUST HAVE clean commercial drivers abstract
• MUST HAVE letter of experience from insurance company where you drove 5 ton truck MINIMUM 3 consecutive years driving REQUIRED
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) ( class 5 licence)
• Clean driving record with no violations or accidents
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo (ability to lift 75100lbs)
