    We're looking for an ambitious and coachable Events & Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing department. In this role, you'll be primarily responsible for running point on events end-to-end and plugging into broader marketing execution. You'll work closely with the CMO and revenue teams, move fast, and be trusted to get things done without hand-holding. If you love shipping, juggling details, and seeing direct impact on revenue, this role is for you.

    Reporting to the CMO, you'll get to work on initiatives that have a direct impact on our company's pipeline and revenue.

    What you'll do


    Events (Primary Focus)

    • Own planning and execution for in-person events (industry conferences, sponsored events and field events).
    • Manage timelines, logistics, vendors, booth assets, shipping, and on-site coordination.
    • Partner with sales and BDR teams to align events to pipeline goals.
    • Support pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up (email, social, lead handoff).
    • Track performance and report on results (leads, meetings booked, influence on pipeline).

    Marketing Execution (Secondary Focus)

    • Support campaign execution across email, social, and website updates.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/agencies as needed.
    • Help keep marketing projects on track with strong organization and follow-through.
    • Maintain clean documentation, timelines, and asset management.

    What You'll Have

    • 3–5 years of experience in events and/or B2B marketing (SaaS or market research a plus).
    • Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines at once without dropping the ball.
    • Strong project management and attention to detail (you notice what others miss).
    • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, leadership, and external partners.
    • Hands-on executor mindset—you don't wait to be told what to do.
    • Clear communicator, organized, and calm under pressure.
    • Optional: Hands-on experience using marketing tools like Zoom Webinars, HubSpot, Salesforce, Asana, Canva and Microsoft Office

    We're committed to pay equity/fair pay practices and closing the gender salary gap.

    • In determining salary, Rival Technologies considers many factors including the successful candidate's skillset and experience as well as internal equity. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000, with the upper portion typically reserved for tenured employees who have developed extensive job knowledge and expertise within the company.
