We are looking for an energetic, customer oriented pharmacy clerk who is willing to learn. High School Students Welcome.


Standard Workflow Requirements:

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent patient and prescription information
• Taking care of the fridge temperature log ensuring everything is up to date and functional
• Clerical duties including completing all records, documentation and patient or third party billings/charges
• Greeting patients
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
• Performing expiry checks of all items in the pharmacy
• Answer phones and general OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
• Handling customer prescription pick up
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required with the Pharmacy Point of Sale System
• Keeping a safe, comfortable and clean work environment (sanitization of all equipment/cleaning, etc.)
• Possess a positive team spirit in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards while delivering superior customer service
• Performing all other duties as assigned.
• A strong command of the English language is required
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• 10 to 40 hours per week

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
