Position Details:


Structural Steel Estimator

  • Report directly to RSL Chief Estimator.
  • Prepare and review tender documents, prepare full structural and miscellaneous takeoffs and estimates.
  • Review and analyze submitted tenders.
  • Review, price, document and implement change orders for ongoing projects.
  • Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work as required.

Project Coordinator

  • Assist Chief Estimator and General Manger in day to day duties of project's administration.
  • Work to find solutions to design document problems, interferences and errors/ omission.
  • Act as liaison with subcontractors in expediting drawings and related information.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date logs (RFI's, Vendors/ Subcontractors Purchases, etc.) tracking responses and advise Chief Estimator/ General Manager of status of logs.
  • Monitor field work, including contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and codes.
  • Attend project coordination and owner/ contractor/ architect/ engineer meeting when required.
  • Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by supervisor on top of estimating responsibilities.

Requirements:


  • Degree in civil engineering or construction technology
  • Min 23 years of experience with steel fabrication and installation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
