    Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are looking for top talent to join our team The position is located in our office in Stellarton.

    Here's where you'll be focusing:

    • Adhere to all internal audit controls and works with internal auditors as required
    • Prepare and process journal entries
    • Generate reports used for the preparation of periodic financial statements
    • Complete cash application to Customer and Liability accounts
    • Identify and communicate exceptions and variances
    • Prepare and analyze backup for working papers
    • Data entry for, including but not limited to inventory, invoices, customs forms, assets, revenue and real estate
    • Excellent knowledge of general ledger accounts, such as accounts payable/receivable, cash, margins and others, including balance sheet account reconciliations
    • Ensure sales data is accurate and timely
    • Support organizational change through initiatives that improve function-specific processes or performance
    • Other duties as assigned

    What you have to offer:

    • College diploma and a minimum of 1 year relevant experience
    • SAP experience preferred
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
