About Crestomere Playschool:

Crestomere Playschool Society is a play based program for children aged three and four years old. Our program offers half-day academic programming including a variety of fun activities and learning experiences. We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team.


Position:
Early childhood Educator Assistant, Part-time (6 hours per week until May 30, Effective Immediately.

Early Childhood Educator Assistance Specific Skills

• Supervise the children at all times, ensuring a safe environment inside the classroom and during outdoor programming.
• Ability to guide and redirect children in situations when conflicts arise
• Identify, select, and modify work in the room to meet the needs of children with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
• Assist in transitioning children from one activity to the next
• Monitor the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with supervisors
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers working with children
• Be flexible in working with children aged 3 and 4 years old
• Ensure the environment and materials are clean and well

- maintained.

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate preferred
Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check


Salary:
$16.00; additional top up for level 1,2,3 certification


Schedule:

• Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, (12:00 to 3:00) until May 30,2024

Ability to commute:

• Crestomere, Alberta in Ponoka County

Job Types:
