The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is currently seeking a M365 Business Analyst co-op student/intern for the Fall 2023 work term (September to December) to work with our Technology team.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING- Work with business and technology leaders to drive adoption of the Microsoft 365 platform- Engage and regularly liaise with the user community to understand their needs- Collect, organize, and analyze problems to support solution recommendations- Research new and innovative ways to create business value with the M365 platform- Support organizational change management activities working across BCI departments- Ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the team

REQUIRED SKILLS- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing- Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, excellent product quality, and attention to detail- Has an interest in investment management, a dedication to hard work, commitment to the highest ethical standards, and an eagerness to learn- Strong research skills combined with analytical and problem-solving abilities- Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook- Familiarity using Microsoft 365 tools such as One Drive, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams would be an asset

THE DETAILS- Work term: Fall 2023 (September to December)- Department: Technology-

Office Location: 750 Pandora Avenue, Victoria, BC- Spend your off hours exploring beautiful Victoria and Vancouver Island- Travel: if coming to Victoria for this work term, BCI will provide a fixed-rate travel allowance based on your location- All co-ops/internships will need to be completed in person at our Victoria office.

We are piloting a hybrid program whereby employees may work from home up to two days per week. Please note, some positions are not eligible for hybrid work.
