- Dedication to safety, equipment care, and the environment
- Fueling and greasing of equipment
- Ensure surface refuse and recycling bins are dumped in the transfer station bins with use of a loader
- Snow clearing (loader) as well as shoveling around doors and walkways during winter months
- Road dust control with water truck
- Delivering/ transporting earthworks materials with loader or delivering parts from warehouse to various parts of the site
- Installing and maintaing site road signs
- Managing ponded water around site with sump pumps following heavy rainfalls or spring thaw
- Grass cutting and brush clearing
- Site services includes but not limited to overall appearance and cleanliness of site, parking lot and road maintenance, ditching and maintenance around surface fuel bays.
- Monitoring and adjusting evaporators on the tailings facility
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years (or 1000 hrs. equivalent) operating Loaders, skid steers, forklifts in an industrial setting
- Experience with power hand tools
- Air brakes endorsement would be considered an asset
- Successful completion of pre-placement functional screen
- Provide proof of a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in Canada
- Provide confirmation of valid educational requirements

Compensation
The anticipated salary for this position will be between $57,000 to $65,000. A comprehensive benefits program and performance bonus plan will also be provided. This is not a camp operation and therefore the successful candidate will be required to relocate to the Kamloops area or travel and accommodation will be the responsibility of the successful applicant.
