Job Duties
Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general wellbeing.
Facilitate and support camp programs.
Follow and enforce all camp rules and policies.
Effectively communicate with campers, staff, and parents
Help campers adjust to camp and to each other; emphasize selfrespect and respect for others; promote positive, healthy friendships; encourage through motivation.
Provides enjoyable experiences while still in a learning environment for camp participants.
Motivate campers to actively participate in all camp activities.
Complete daily and weekly paperwork
Defensive Driving course (considered an asset)
Biking Safety course (considered an asset)
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Specific Accountabilities

Duties

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

Must have completed grade 11 and be registered to return to high school or postsecondary for fall 202
Strong communication, organizational, time management skills.
Able to work with youth from diverse backgrounds.
Responsible, friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and willing to learn.
Able to work in a team and independently.
Must have a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
First Aid/CPR (considered an asset but not necessary)
Hold a valid driver's license
