    The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $120,000 - $140,000 CAD at the time of posting.

    Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills* *Lead the initiation and planning of highly complex, strategic projects, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
    Develop comprehensive project plans that encompass all necessary activities, resources, and timelines, utilizing advanced project management techniques and tools. *Establish and maintain project governance structures, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
    Develop business cases and project charters, securing stakeholder buy-in and alignment. *Lead and motivate high-performing project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment mentoring project team members on project management best practices.
    Develop and implement resource management plans, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of project resources across multiple projects. *Develop and implement a comprehensive integrated project plan using standard tools and methods that align with contractual requirements.
    Manage dependencies between project tasks and activities, ensuring seamless integration and timely completion. *Monitor project progress, identify critical path activities, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and budgets.
    Support negotiation of complex contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. *Manage vendor performance, monitoring adherence to contractual obligations and resolving any issues or disputes.
    Develop and implement contract management plans, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. *Manage change orders and contract modifications, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes.
    Expert knowledge of project management methodologies. *Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams and stakeholders.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex project issues.
    Proficiency in using project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.). *Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
    Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices. *Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to project challenges.
    Proven ability to mentor and coach project managers and other team members. *Deep understanding of organizational governance and decision-making processes.
    Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management. *Proven track record of successfully managing highly complex, strategic, and cross-functional projects with significant organizational impact.
    Experience leading and motivating high-performing project teams. *Experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
    Experience negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships. *Experience managing project risks and issues.
    Experience with project management methodologies. *Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration).

    Master's preferred.
    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired. *Relevant project management experience may be substituted for a degree.
