AIDE Canada is a national autism initiative headquartered in Richmond BC, funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, and operated by the Pacific Autism Family Network.

We deliver resources and information to support the autism and/or intellectual disability community.

As a member of the marketing and communications team, the Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in overseeing marketing projects across AIDE Canada's national network.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of marketing and communication projects for a variety of initiatives across the country.

These include knowledge sharing, event marketing and promotions, development of community communications, digital marketing, advertising, and more.


Our new team member will be responsible for ensuring there is clear communication with all relevant stakeholders, on-time and on-budget completion of projects, and brand consistency.


What you will do:


  • Provide ongoing support to the AIDE Canada executive team and the Pacific Autism Family Network operational team on marketing initiatives that help drive our marketing objectives and development goals.
  • Plan the social media calendar, design social media posts and schedule content across social media accounts
  • Track and report on published content
  • Create and manage the biweekly newsletter
  • Manage communications with community members
  • Work with the existing communications team to ensure that all initiatives are completed on time an on budget.
  • Identify new needs as they arise and support the Executive Team in implementing new strategies to meet those needs

What you offer:


  • A college or university degree in a relevant discipline such as business, marketing, communications, or public relations. (Substantial relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered).
  • Minimum 2 years experience in marketing and communications management, project management, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills
  • An ability to understand and analyze trends
  • An understanding of a wide variety of marketing channels (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • An understanding of a variety of marketing tools (Adobe Suite, HubSpot, Active Campaign, SEM Rush)
  • An aptitude for design and visual aesthetics, and a good understanding of graphic and communications design principles.
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills, time management and problemsolving skills
  • Experience working on digital marketing campaigns and/or web initiatives with a good understanding of digital analytics.
  • Ability to communicate in both French and English is a strong asset.

Compensation:

We offer competitive salaries, flexible work hours, and hybrid working arrangements (combination of on-site as required and work from home)


Salary $48,000 - $50,000 per year to start, annual paid vacation leave, paid sick days, and extended health benefits upon successful completion of probationary period.
