LOCATION:
Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Summary
Locally, we are a high functioning, multidisciplinary project team of engineers, project managers, specialists, technologists, designer/drafters, and supporting staff.
We specialize in mid-sized sustaining and new capital projects, however, are involved in projects of a wide range and scale for clients across Canada and the globe.

We develop project-specific teams and methodologies to accomplish our goals.Our work spans varied market sectors however these typically focus on:
- Mining and Mineral Processing
- Heavy Industrial Facilities
- Remote Community Water Treatment and Power Generation
- Municipal and Energy Utilities
EITs will work closely with a group of engineering professionals and will gain valuable hands-on engineering experience in a challenging and versatile engineering consulting working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interfaces with project team members to complete assigned tasks
- Undertakes calculations, analysis and simulations from basic or first principles following established design practices as directed by senior engineers
- Prepares basic design and/or engineering reports when requested
- Assists in the management of drawing and document lists, distribution matrices, squad check coordination and records management
- Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards
- Prepares and manages material takeoffs and requisition packages
QUALIFICATIONS:
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Some experience or knowledge in Mining, or Municipal sectors is preferred
- Sound judgement and initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others team members and engineering disciplines
SOFTWARE AND SYSTEMS:
- Experience using 3D AutoCad or equivalent considered an asset
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered as an EIT
