Job Summary
They identify, analyze and correct inventory discrepancies. They make a periodic inventory of the goods in general. They must also ensure compliance with standards and procedures related to health and safety at work.


Main Responsibilities

  • Make a periodic inventory of the various products in the branch and in the lumber yard, enter the results in the computer system.
  • Analyze discrepancies and report to the branch management and to the standards and procedures department, on the quantity and cumulative value of the discrepancies.
  • Participate in the optimization of the cyclical counting process.
  • Be the resource person for branch management in the process of inventory adjustment requests and their approval.
  • Get involved in annual inventory counts.
  • Be the contact person for other branches and the DC for questions related to the inventory of his branch.
  • Participate in all projects related to the inventory through the PM group.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to requests from the AC and the DC.

Required Skills and Qualifications Profile

Training/Experience/Certification

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience deemed relevant.

Knowledge

  • Have good knowledge of the Windows environment.

Requires Skills and Aptitudes

  • Have a good command of the French language both orally and in writing.
  • Have a driver's licence and a car.
  • Have skills in inventory analysis and management.
  • Respect the safety rules.
  • Have an interest in accounting (an asset).
