Longawaited Acres / Lach Sod Farms is a family run business operating since 1955. We are the premier mineral sod supplier for Winnipeg & area, serving both the commercial & residential customers.

JOB PROFILE:
Reporting to the Farm Manager, the farm labourer is responsible for carrying out day to day tasks in the fields.

The job includes but shall not be restricted to:

Operating tractors, forklift, mower, other motorized equipment
Minor repairing & maintaining farm equipment
Assisting truck drivers with load/unload
Pallet repair & pallet pickup
Field cleanup
Serving customers (residential & commercial)

On-job training will be provided - no experience required

Hours: 50+ per week

Status:
Full Time (shop work in winter)

Wage is dependent upon experience & qualifications

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
