Description
Reporting to the Plant Manager, Maintenance Supervisor leads our mechanics in maintaining all equipment and building at our juice manufacturing plant in Calgary, Alberta.

Key activities:
- Manage a team of mechanics responsible for equipment and building maintenance.
- Optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Regularly inspect machinery and facilities to preempt potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Ensure compliance with internal risk management protocols and provincial regulations.
- Schedule preventative maintenance and major overhauls in collaboration, aligning with production schedules.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff.
- Cultivate a safetyfocused environment by enforcing risk assessments, LOTO and safety procedures.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, overseeing Capex projects as needed.
- Conduct root cause analysis for downtimes and propose preventive measures.
- Assist the Production Department in enhancing plant efficiencies.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend relevant maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with inhouse and OEM maintenance personnel.
- Support other departments in meeting customer service targets.
Required training and experience:
- Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Tetra Pak equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Experience in project management and budget management.
