Maintain business documents used to substantiate claims, contracts, and payments of goods and services to ensure company compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
Ensure the integrity of working documents, maintain document queues for workflow exceptions, and resolve document data issues.Claims Document Specialist Objectives
- Identify, classify, and disposition documents or other electronic content according to predefined characteristics such as applicable functional support, applicable business process, claim support, and metadata requirements
- Responsible for customizing the document management system to "Learn" characteristics of documents and required metadata elements
- Receives and organizes claim documentation
- Assists with daily workflow to ensure SLAs are met
- Adheres to quality assurance guidelines
- Operate data capture technology to import digitized documents into a document management system
- Says current with all policies and procedures
- Perform other duties, or work needs to support business requests

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Experience in the insurance, financial, or backoffice preferred
- Must have strong verbal/written skills with the ability to communicate effectively to employees, clients, customers, team members, and all levels of management
- Must have strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Products. (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
- Must have time management and organizational skills
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Must have strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
