Guest Attendant/ Personal Support Worker

FULL TIME AND/OR PART TIME OPPORTUNITIES
The Floor Supervisor-Guest Attendant provides medication administration and personal care to residents in a safe manner.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provides support to nurses and assists with medication administration in accordance with established work routines as required;
  • Providing personal care, housekeeping, and laundry services for seniors in a retirement residence setting;
  • Change linens, clean bathrooms and other surfaces, vacuum, mop, vacuum hallways and clean commonly shared areas
  • Assists and attends to special needs of the residents as required
  • Assists with food preparation, dining room service, busing and dishwashing services in accordance with established work routines as required
  • Previous experience in medication administration, food or personal care;
  • Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent preferred;
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
From $17.00 per hour
