Job Description:

The Grounds Guys Barrie is searching for individuals that want to grow with our growing team and aren't afraid to jump into the thick of it to get the job done.

If you have a proactive can-do attitude with a desire to see a job well done, contact us today We are looking for Team Leads, to be responsible for running and managing a crew for day-to-day activities.

If you are experienced in Outdoor Construction or Hardscape design and installation, and have previous supervisory experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.

You will be responsible for motivating and directing your team in a positive and purposeful manner.

We are currently searching for long-term team members interested in career growth and a progressive environment. This job requires a strong work ethic and is able to effectively manage time to meet deadlines. You must be capable of performing physical labour for long hours in hot, cold and wet weather. This position also requires you to be hands-on, doing actual installation and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:

Manage team of up to 6 people while performing services; motivate, coach, and mentor team
Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to miniex, loader, skidsteer, Dingo, dump trailers
Perform landscape enhancement activities such as installation of patios, retaining walls, walkways, decks, gazebos, etc.
Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns. Complete changeorder paperwork
Prepare daily reports and other required paperwork as well as completing job information in our company app.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism both with fellow employees and clients.

Requirements:

35 years' experience in the Outdoor Construction field is required (Hardscape, decks, gazebos, etc)
Previous leadership/supervisory experience
Own transportation to shop
Background check
Valid G (or higher) licence and clean driving abstract is mandatory
Able to work days, weekends, early morning, early evening.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
