What you will do:

Assemble all signage efficiently to Pride Signs quality standards by thorough job review, set up, equipment selection and workflow. Never allow a substandard product to leave the shop.
Focus on effective set up and flow to maximize efficiency and minimize material handling.
Read and interpret assembly drawings, work order instructions and procedure manuals
Fit and assemble components to meet production requirements
Understand the sequence of the assembly build
Determine the correct equipment and methods to obtain the most efficient results
Provide support to engineering regarding efficient design, estimation of assembly time, required materials and equipment.
Requires the use of hand/powered tools, fixtures, parts, subassemblies, and operation of overhead crane.
Direct others, as required, depending on complexity of assembly
Communicate with engineering department for labour estimates, work order and quality issues.
Ensure final inspection is complete prior to leaving the department.
Participate in Kaizen activities

What we need:

Minimum 3 years' manufacturing experience
Minimum High School
Experience or formal education in custom fabrication, or comparable industry, eg; sheet metal,equipment builder, mechanical or industrial engineering
Critical thinking and eye for detail
Must be able to read, write and understand English, and use imperial measuring system
Ability to read, understand and interpret engineered drawings
Team oriented with the ability to work with others in a multicultural environment.
