- We support a hybrid work environment consisting of in-person collaboration at our Calgary office (3 days per week) and flexible remote work.
- Hands-on coding of services, applications, system-to-system integrations, and front-end interface.
- Ongoing support of applications in response to changing business and system requirements.
- Build scripts to create data pipelines.
- Work closely with an agile team (Developers, Data Specialists, Business Analysts) to deliver and maintain software solutions.
- Collaborate with third-party developers when necessary.
- Develop intimate knowledge of the organization's existing software portfolio and cross-dependencies to ensure a well-integrated digital platform.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and software development best practices.
- 2+ years of experience in .NET environment (C# and Python development languages).
- Experience with front-end languages JavaScript/Typescript, HTML and CSS an asset.
- Experience designing, building and supporting systems in Azure cloud environment.
- Ability to develop technical integrations with third-party service providers through REST APIs.
- Have excellent understanding of relational data modelling, with experience in SQL server and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to develop test cases to root out bugs.
- Experience using ReactJs Is an asset.
- Understanding of SOA principles and microservice concepts an asset.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Git an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform / SharePoint / O365 an asset.
- Transportation and/or Oil and Gas business knowledge an asset.
- BS or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent industry software development experience.
