YOUR ROLE
We are currently looking for a
Intake Coordinator to join our team, working
full-time based in our office in
Surrey, BC.
This role maintains and electronically files all documentation received and updates all required data fields in proprietary case management systems, and are responsible for triaging cases and assigning them to the appropriate team member.
_This is a 6-month contract opportunity._OUTCOMES
- First 30 Days_
- Enters information into proprietary Disability Management systems with >95% accuracy
- Appropriately triages new files and assigns documentation to the appropriate department and team member.
- First 60 Days_
- Successfully follows all internal procedures for documentation management.
- Understands where scenarios fall outside the norm and consults with a team lead, manager, or other senior staff person to determine any relevant modifications to standard process.
- First 90 Days_
- Provides input where inefficiencies are identified to rectify adverse outcomes from occurring or to simply increase efficiency.
YOUR IMPACT
- You will setup new claim files in appropriate claims management system and assigns to member of the team.
- You will review information received and identifies inaccuracies or incompleteness; relays this information to the appropriate team member for followup
- You will review benefits coverage to confirm eligibility under policy; investigates any inaccuracies or incomplete information prior to claim enrollment.
- You will utilize internal naming conventions to appropriately name and file documentation as well as attaching the documentation to the appropriate file.
- You will update fields in the claims management systems to reflect the documentation received.
- You will create and maintain regular reporting for management and team, proofreads reports to verify for accuracy; Attends internal meetings as required.
THIS IS YOU
- 2 years previous administrative experience
- Competence in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and general computer literacy
- Administrative Post-Secondary training is an asset
- Knowledge of office administration practices, procedures, protocols, and terminology
- You have the ability to analyze and solve routine problems
- You have strong attention to detail and are able to multitask
- You have strong time management capabilities and are able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
