Do you have experience managing tradeshow and annual user and partner conference events and understand that a successful tradeshow equals critical lead generation to support sales teams as well as brand and product awareness?


Your contribution will play a major role in helping provide the highest standard, quality execution and successful completion of events and initiatives while concurrently pushing innovation, ROI driven performance, and key attention to detail across all project deliverables.

Working with your events team and internal stakeholders and senior leadership team members to support global events across all time zones, this is a highly visible role where attention to detailed execution coupled with a creative flair is key.

What You'll Do

Project Planning

  • Oversee the company's involvement at key vertical focused industry trade shows from concept to execution, including oversight of booth design, branding, visitor experience and overall logistics
  • Define with stakeholder input and collaboration project milestones and deadlines
  • Coordinate internal teams across business units and external suppliers and events organizers to ensure a successful event that meets organizational goals and expectations
  • Execute a full roster of yearly global events with solid and realistic project plans using corporate project planning tools such as Asana
  • Comfortable in a highly visible, indemand position with frequently changing priorities as the main point of contact to triage and mitigate client concerns and escalations, alongside Management team
Event Logistics

  • Ensure that before, during and after events run smoothly and all needed documentation is made available for appropriate stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration amongst the team
  • Keep and maintain a comprehensive show plan for each show and ensure it is consistently updated to reflect realtime changes
  • Perform briefing and debriefing meetings with various stakeholders and project team members to ensure they are well prepared going into events and retrieving feedback and lessons learned after the event
  • Ability to travel outside of Canada to provide logístical/marketing support such as onsite booth scheduling, and coordination with suppliers such as booth, electrical, internet, etc.
  • Be a part of the event staff helping to drive conversations with prospects getting them engaged and qualifying them to have further interactions with technical and sales members of the team
Operational

  • Be the expert in all project planning tools (e.g., Asana), alongside familiarity with key technology stack (Salesforce, automation tools, Microsoft 365, approved company communication platforms, and more) to ensure successful event set up and integration across all teams
  • Aid, support the Events team on execution of removing blockers/issues and mitigating risks for successful project completion
  • Document and assist in providing training to assist in the growth and scaling of the department
  • Identify and enhance KPIs that measure event execution and Return on Investment (ROI) to maintain a high standard and consistent approach to reporting
  • Work with Events team to create yearly event plan based on marketing plans and budget and geared towards achieving stated go
