Shipper / Receiver for our
Langley, British Columbia yard to assist with fast-paced and challenging projects.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, custom forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer.
  • Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
  • Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate staging areas.
  • Maintain internal, manual, or computerized recordkeeping systems.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, yard.
  • Contact supplier and resolve any shipping issues.
  • May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.

Qualifications / Skills:


  • Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Receiving stocking, and stacking stock.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of time and urgency.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Must be able to bend and lift heavy boxes.
  • Wellorganized, task oriented, and reliable.
  • Ability to think quickly and resolve issues.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:


  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous construction experience.
  • Must have valid Cass 5 drivers license.
  • Must have CSTS certificate.
  • Must have valid Zoom Boom ticket.
