    What is the opportunity?

    Newcomer & Cultural Client Segment Strategy team plays a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative acquisition and growth strategies across all Canadian Banking products that focus on 'New-to-Canada" clients.

    As a Senior Manager, you will collaboratively work with multiple stakeholders across all aspects of the value chain (e.g. Products, Risk, Portfolio Management, Sales, Technology and Operations) to identify and action incremental growth opportunities.

    Additionally, you will support strategy development to identify and quantify new client growth segments, optimize existing client portfolios and simplify opportunities to drive bottom line growth.

    What will you do?

    • Develop and lead a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the Newcomer and Culture Client Segment team goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data in decision-making processes.
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges related to newcomer strategies; translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for strategy adjustments and innovation.
    • Derive insights and portfolio trending from regular client segments reporting related to client, product, profitability and risk performance.
    • Enable data-driven strategies by preparing Business Reviews to demonstrate business acumen by showcasing key performance metrics that drive action among teammates, Partners and Leaders
    • Work closely with Marketing, product, analytics and other teams to effectively manage data projects and ensure alignment of business objectives.
    • Lead design and requirements of analysis to drive critical evaluation of strategic opportunities. Data-driven pre & post-arrival tactics prioritized to focus on identifying and solving key client paint points.
    • Represent the Newcomer Team as a subject matter expert on cultural data in internal sources such as Data Warehouse and Data Lake, as well as external sources.
    • Equip the Newcomer Team, as well as partners in Regions, Lines of Business and Functions in data-driven decision-making by maintaining and enhancing portfolio of data.

    • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and pay attention to detail.
    • Innovative and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to impact and influence stakeholders.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong communicator; ability to facilitate working sessions, develop clear and effective decks.
    • Data Analysis (ex. excel, SQL, SAS, Tableau) and business presentation proficiency.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analysis or strategy role.

    Nice-to-have:

    • Experience with Product Management and strategy development
    • MBA
