    Bilingual Territory Manager, MDS (Montreal)


    Join BD, one of the world's leading medical technology companies, as a Bilingual Territory Manager for its MDS (Medical Device Services) line in Montreal, Quebec. Report to the MDS National Sales Manager and drive both growth and base business within your assigned territory.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Achieve and manage sales target through the effective management of BD's base business and growth opportunities in the territory.
    • Develop a pipeline of opportunities and a business plan for the territory.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical, and hospital contracting teams to maximize hospital contracts.
    • Manage and negotiate product validations, conversions, and sustainability plans.
    • Translate marketing and sales strategies into account‑specific plans using BD's product value propositions.
    • Provide technical support and best‑practice solutions to clinical end users.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and committees in hospitals.
    • Maintain awareness of BD's portfolio across all hospitals in the territory.
    • Act as the customer subject‑matter expert to deliver win‑win solutions.
    • Lead account planning initiatives—including forecasting, funnel management, and sales process rigor.
    • Execute RFPs through pre, during, and post phases.
    • Represent BD's value propositions to customers and partners within the territory.
    • Maintain sales data and records to understand market trends and share competitive intelligence.
    • Manage selling expenses effectively.

    Education and Experience Required

    • University degree.
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience selling medical devices to acute‑care facilities.

    Knowledge and Skills Required

    • Bilingual in French and English (reading, speaking, writing) required; interactions will be in both languages, including French in Québec.
    • Valid driver's licence and clean driving record for a minimum of three years.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
    • Strong track record of high‑level sales success, with ability to build lasting client relationships and present effectively across organizational levels.
    • Expertise in managing complex sales environments, driving multiple projects, and executing structured sales processes.
    • Results‑driven, proactive, and resilient, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
    • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, using data to deliver solutions.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adaptable from one‑on‑one to senior leadership forums.
    • Business‑savvy negotiation skills, influencing decisions and managing stakeholder interactions.
    • Proficiency in pipeline management, data analysis, and CRM systems.

    Workplace Expectations


    Most positions at BD require a minimum of four days of in‑office presence per week to maintain culture and collaboration; remote or field‑based roles have different arrangements. Employment is contingent on proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination or an appropriate medical exemption.
