    Bilingual Medical Officer Administrator (Part-time) - Remote

This is the job for you We are currently looking for (2) Bilingual Medical Officer Administrators for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

    What is in it for you:


    • Hourly salary of $28 to $32, based on experience.
    • 6-month contract.
    • Part-time position: 22.50 hours per week with possibility of overtime.

    Work schedule:

    from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday.

    Responsibilities:


    • Review and assess risk for external communications to ensure compliance with privacy protocols, adhering to client-specific communication guidelines. Attention to detail is required to prevent privacy breaches.
    • Be thorough and follow up to reconcile inconsistent or inaccurate information. Use excellent communication to provide feedback to case managers and leaders when guidelines and expectations for privacy and confidentiality are not met in email content.
    • Analyze communications to document and track trends for continuous improvement.
    • Handle group email inbox promptly to meet turnaround times while maintaining quality.
    • Assist with other case management-related administrative tasks, such as email communications, tool referrals, processing invoices, etc.
    What you will need to succeed:


    • Post-secondary education (college or university level).
    • 2 years of experience in an administrative office setting is preferred.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, OneNote, OneDrive, PowerPoint), and Adobe is required.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
    • Strong organizational, prioritization, and planning abilities are required.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
    • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) is required.
    • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to cope with high workload volumes and conflicting deadlines are necessary.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Be a fast learner who is analytical, proactive, and takes initiative.
    • Ability to probe, investigate, apply critical judgment, problem solve, and take ownership of discrepancies/issues and see them through to resolution.
    • Capable of collaborating and building relationships with tact and diplomacy with internal partners.
    • Able to work independently as well as within a team.
    • Disability management and/or group benefit knowledge would be an asset.
