About the Opportunity:


Reporting to the Clinical Operations Supervisor, the Clerk works collaboratively with other clerical and secretarial staff to support the operation.

The clerk may interface with staff, clients, families, the public, and community agencies.

Responsibilities include greeting and registering clients; scheduling, booking and communicating appointments; communicating with referral sources; responding to telephone and in person requests; as well as a variety of other duties to assist clinical staff and ensure the general organization and efficiency of the service.

The Clerk performs all duties while maintaining a high standard of maturity and discretion in handling confidential matters.


About You:


  • Grade 12 plus oneyear clerical experience or one year postsecondary business program
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of STAR, PHS and Time Capture preferred
  • Medical Terminology preferred
  • Mental Health experience preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organization and multitasking skills
  • A skills test may be required
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Permanent Full Time position; 70 hours biweekly

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $21.91 Hourly
