Description
We are seeking an individual for a full-time general Maintenance technician. Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle. Preferable if applicants have refrigeration ticket, but is not required.Responsibilities Include:
Multi-tasking in all-around trades activities including:
- basic repairs and maintenance
- general plumbing
- basic carpentry
- basic electrical
- tending to appliances
- general aesthetic upkeep such as painting, tile work, or landscaping
If applicant has refrigeration ticket, responsibilities also include repairing walk-in cooler and freezer units, reach-in and upright coolers and freezers rooftop HVAC systems, commercial ice makers and other equipment or structures as necessary
Qualifications
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge an asset
- Must have valid driver's licence and vehicle to be able to transport between restaurant locations
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Availability to be on call for evenings and weekends as needed when emergencies arise is an asset
- Refrigeration Technician certificate or equivalent preferred but not required
- Basic problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate any issues or problems to the Maintenance Lead while also being able to work with other staff members to get a particular job completed
Job Types:

Salary:
$18.00-$24.00 per hour
