Job description
Our client, a leader in Financial and Tax Software, is looking for someone to join their team as a Web Developer.
*This is a 9-month contract
In this role, you will create high-quality web content designed to drive traffic and engagement, manage visual assets that enhance the user experience, and ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices to maximize visibility and performance.
Develop and publish new website pages using the CMS
Edit and optimize existing web content for clarity, performance, and SEO
Implement and manage images and visual elements to enhance user experience
Ensure SEO best practices are followed (metadata, structure, performance improvements)
Translate business requirements into intuitive, engaging web experiences
Collaborate closely with marketing, UX designers, and content teams to maintain brand consistency
Gather and incorporate user feedback to improve site performance and usability
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree
Hands-on experience in web production or web operations
Strong experience building pages in a Content Management System (CMS)
Experience working within a design system and using reusable components
Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including metadata updates and technical optimizations
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to execute against requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Figma
Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
