    We are seeking a talented, energetic students to join the Supply Chain team in our Milton Factory location as a Sourcing and Procurement Business Analyst Summer Student. Duration for this role would be for 4 months (May 2024 – December 2024).

    What you will be doing:

    The position will be reporting to the Purchasing Agent. As a summer student in the Sourcing and Procurement team you will be operating at the core of our business, where your analytical skills will lead to better decision-making throughout the entire value chain.

    Together, we make our business run smoothly and contribute to our company's development and growth. Within your field, you can work on a variety of assignments alongside our procurement, finance, and operations teams. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, but a typical day would entail:

  • Processing & Improvement Procurement reports
  • Build relationships by supporting local business in staying compliant with our policies.
  • Get to know the team when managing the phone and car benefits.
  • Liaise with several members of our global sourcing procurement team to see each report to submission
  • Act as a single contact for support and helping the Sourcing and Procurement team on how to do better
  • Above all, taking pride in relationship building to set our team and Rockwool up for continued success.
  • At the end of your assignment, you will have the opportunity to share information about your experience with other students and with ROCKWOOL management.

    What you bring:

  • Working towards a a post-secondary education in engineering, business, or equivalent field
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite- especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
