Description
We are now recruiting for a full-time, permanent, Reginal Sales Manager to join our dynamic team of hospitality professionals.

The Regional Sales Manager, based at our
Holiday Inn & Suites Regina, will play an important role and will be responsible for searching out and coordinating of new business at 4 properties:

Holiday Inn & Suites Regina, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Regina South, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Prince Albert and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Swift Current.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with key clients in order to produce business throughout the region and portfolio.
  • Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various efforts, including prospecting, sales calls, site tours, sales blitzes, prompt and competent followup on leads/referrals and networking in order to maximize room revenue to meet and/or exceed individual and team sales and revenue goals.
  • Develop and continually enhance relationships with key accounts, business and travel industry accounts, community organizations and professional associations to maintain high visibility and increase market share.
  • Establishes client base of corporate businesses through direct outside sales effort for the purpose of securing business for the hotels.
  • Works collaboratively as a member of the Revenue Management Team in developing effective revenue strategies and setting targets that will drive the property's financial performance.
  • Accurately forecasts all bookings and cancellations.
  • Responds promptly to client inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Travels throughout the region to meet with stakeholders and decisionmakers.

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma
  • 2 + years experience in hotel sales, with experience selling multiple locations
  • Ability to investigate and analyze current sales trends activities and make recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Comfortable with technology and open to new learning
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, operate proactively, and work as a team to handle challenges
Job expectations will be discussed during interview. Primary hours are Monday - Friday with expectation to attend various events and sales blitzes during evenings and weekends.
