Our client, a leading international bank, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Asset & Liability Management to lead their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and coordinate the management and optimisation of assets and liabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic financial goals. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the asset liability management function, setting function goals and plans to ensure efficient operation
• Oversee the management and optimisation of assets and liabilities, including asset allocation, liability structure, funding management
• Analyse the Bank's asset and liability situation, assess risks and returns, make recommendations to optimise asset liability structure and capital utilisation efficiency
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies in asset and liability management
• Conduct liquidity risk management to ensure sufficient liquidity in various market environments
• Monitor interest rate risk exposures, implement appropriate managing measures
• Implement foreign exchange risk management strategies
• Manage overall funds to ensure fund liquidity, security and efficiency
• Conduct Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) management to support business development
• Coordinate communication with internal departments and external institutions, address issues in asset liability management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in finance, financial management, accounting or related fields
• 5+ years of work experience in asset liability management or related fields
• Leadership experience in an asset liability management team or function preferred
• Familiarity with asset liability management theories, tools, methods
• Strong risk management abilities
• Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively coordinate internal resources
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to handle complex situations independently
• Familiarity with financial markets and related regulations
• Solid computer and data analysis skills, proficiency in using Excel and other tools
• 5 days a week in office
