London Hospital Linen Service (LHLS) is currently recruiting for 2
Full Time Mechanical/Electrical Apprentices to join our Maintenance team at our health care laundry facility.
SHIFT:
These positions will be Monday to Friday and rotate every 2 weeks between Day and Afternoon shift.
Day Shift 6:30am - 3:00pm
Afternoon Shift 3:30pm-12:00am
Compensation
Hourly rate for this position is between $ $32.73 per hour.
There is also a
$0.65/hour shift premium for afternoon shift
Includes a company paid health and welfare package as well as company contributions to a pension plan.
- Install, repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Assist with all duties within the department.
Skills Required:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong team player and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Electrical knowledge/experience.
- Computer skills/ Data entry
- Steam system knowledge/ understanding is an asset.
- Must comply with the safety policies of the Company.
